The Walt Disney World® Resort does not charge tuition fees for the courses that the American Council on Education has approved for credit; however, Cast Members are responsible for purchasing textbooks and paying a materials fee. The costs are estimated below.

If participants plan to enroll in college and want to earn credit for any of the Disney Education courses, they should check with an academic advisor to learn if the school they plan to attend will charge them tuition.

Textbooks & Course Materials

Currently course materials range from approximately $6-60 per course. Students taking courses will purchase their course materials through payroll deduction upon arrival. New textbooks cost from $18.95-125; however, students are welcome to purchase used textbooks from any outlet. If you would like to do so, please see the course syllabus for the required title, including the ISBN number, to help you in your search. We recommend exploring local college bookstores or searching by ISBN number at any online vendor. Another option would be to check the book publisher's online Web site.
