Special Events and
Activities In many ways, joining the Disneyland® Resort Cast
is like joining an extended family that works together and plays together. Some
of the events scheduled for Disneyland Resort Cast Members include:
Cast-exclusive film screenings of new Disney
films
Canoe races inside the Disneyland
Park
Flashback - A talent show for Cast Members
starring Cast Members. (All the money raised for this event goes to charity but
seeing your leaders sing and dance is priceless!)
Private tours of The Walt Disney Studios in
Burbank
Disney Choir
Sports team events
Diversity Resource Groups, such as HOLA and
PRIDE
In addition to all of these events, we encourage
Cast Members to take part in our Disney VoluntEARS group. There are a number of
ways for our Cast to get involved and make a difference in their community -
and have a lot of fun, too!
Communication There is a wide variety of
communication vehicles available for participants to access information about
development opportunities, events and resources. These vehicles include:
The HUB This excellent resource
provides all Cast Members with a single source for accurate, timely, and
relevant information, including messages from executives, company news,
information about products and services, tools Cast Members need to perform
their roles, Cast discounts and Cast activities.
Personal E-mail Distributions Throughout their program, Disney College Program Cast Members receive
e-mail with updates on current news and information regarding the program.
The Disneyland Resort Line This
bi-weekly publication by and for the Cast includes articles about new projects,
attractions, and events at the Disneyland Resort, executive messages,
Cast events, Cast discounts, Cast offers and more.
