Thank you for your interest in the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Professional Internship Program. Below are a number of questions and answers that we feel will help with your decision to apply for a Disney Internship.

Q. Are there different lengths of Professional Internships?

A. Yes, Disney has a variety of programs ranging from two weeks to six months, depending on the project and location. Details for each internship can be found on each individual posting. Please visit DisneyCareers.com and search using keyword: Internship

Q. When do you start posting available internships?

A. Positions are continuously posted to fit the needs of the different sites and projects. Longer term internships are customarily posted six to nine months in advance of the start date.

Q. I have already graduated from college. Can I apply for an internship?

A. No, with the exception of Animal Programs. The Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Internship Program is reserved for those who are currently enrolled in college. For other opportunities, please visit DisneyCareers.com. For Animal Programs, internships are available to individuals within one year of graduation.

Q. I am graduating in May. Can I still apply for an internship?

A. Whether you are graduating in May or December, as long as you are a current student at time of application, you may apply for an internship that immediately follows your graduation date.

Q. When should I follow up on my submitted resume to an internship?

A. Walt Disney Parks and Resorts receives hundreds of resumes for each internship posted. Due to the high volume of responses, we are only able to contact those applicants we are interested in interviewing.

Q. If I have already applied for an internship, may I apply for another?

A. Here at Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, we encourage you to only apply for your top three choices. You may apply for more, but we prefer that you limit it to three.

Q. Are there standard qualifications for internships?

A. Each internship requires that you are at least 18 years of age and are able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Additional requirements are different for each posting. Some require a minimum GPA. Please reference each individual posting for their specific requirements prior to applying.

Q. Do you have other programs available besides the Professional Internship program?

Q. I’ve just graduated from high school and don’t plan on attending college until a later time. Do you have a program for me?

Q. Do I have to be a College Program Alumni to apply for an internship?

A. There are a number of internships that do not require you to be a Disney Theme Parks and Resorts College Program Alumni to apply. Those available positions will be listed on DisneyCareers.com. Please consult each individual posting for prior participation requirements.
