TEXTILE SERVICES

Textile Services is a world leader in providing quality linen for our guest at the Walt Disney World Resort. Textile Services is comprised of three separate facilities that are among the largest and most productive plants within the laundry industry worldwide. Disney's Textile Services employs the latest technologies available to the laundry industry to attain this high level of performance. Between the three laundry facilities, we service more than 27,000 guest rooms, 300 food and beverage locations and provide cleaned costumes for 44,000 cast members daily.

Intern Responsibilities:

• Assist local leadership in identifying and improving mechanical deficiencies of the three operations.
• Assist local leadership in determining the remaining service life of plant equipment.
• Other special projects as determined by local leadership

Required Qualifications:

• Junior level or higher
• Currently enrolled as an Mechanical Engineering major with a GPA of 3.1 or higher
• Eligibility for full-time employment within the U.S. on a permanent basis
• Must possess strong analytical troubleshooting skills
• Able to contribute creative solutions to problems
• Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment
• Co-op: ability to work multiple, rotating terms for 3-6 months in duration

Desired Qualifications:

• Manufacturing facility or processing plant experience
• Demonstrated bilingual skills
