The Walt Disney Company Foundation
The Walt Disney Company Foundation primarily facilitates the Disney Cast Member Scholarship Program for the children of our employees, as well as our Matching Gifts Program which supplements our employees' contributions to higher education. In addition, The Foundation oversees special philanthropic initiatives, including efforts to help the nation heal after the tragic occurrences of September 11, 2001. The Foundation was founded in 1951 by Walt and Roy O. Disney as a company-funded entity. It does not accept unsolicited grant applications.
