On Sunday, June 11, more than 100 celebrities came together at the A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival sponsored by Disney – a benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Each year, Hollywood's best-known celebrities volunteer their time as "heroes" working carnival-style game booths to raise funds for pediatric research. In addition to interacting with their favorite celebrities, guests were treated to an array of culinary treats from some of Los Angeles' finest restaurants. The event ended with a concert by Jesse McCartney. A Time for Heroes is expected to raise more than $1 million for the Foundation, helping to provide a healthier future for children worldwide.
