Sea Squall Walls Paint the wall behind bed and the adjacent wall CAST A SPELL BLUE. Let dry. Use MICKEYS GLOVES to create loose clouds. Follow instructions for the cloud template located at www.disneyhome.com. Use a sponge with CAST A SPELL BLUE to soften edges of cloud.

Black Pearl BedPaint bed frame and headboard MOUSE EARS. Paint your ship’s name, using pirate-themed lettering stecils MICKEYS GLOVES. We added a pirate flag to the end of the bed for extra fun.

Pirates Cove WallsYou will be using one color in two different sheens to create this look. Paint entire wall MOUSE EARS Flat sheen. Let dry. The skull heads are painted with MOUSE EARS Hi-Gloss sheen. Be sure to keep the eyes, nose and mouth in the Flat sheen. We used wall sconces to create the torch lights. To create the torch stem use stencil and paint DEEP IN THE WOODS. Use flame stencil and paint flame FIREFLIES GLOW. Use KANGA ORANGE to add accents to the top of the flame.

Dead Man’s Chest of DrawersPaint the top and front drawers 100 ACRE TREES. Paint the sides and feet KANGA ORANGE. Let dry. Use key stencil on drawer fronts and paint ENGLISH MEADOW. Let dry. Accent the sides of your treasured chest with intricate Walls My Way Accents by Imperial. Use rope instead of drawer pulls to accentuate the pirate theme down to the dusty details. To complete this scene worthy of any swashbuckling matey, we’ve draped fisherman’s netting over the bed,added a lantern light and constructed a ladder out of rope and 4" x 2' plywood available at The Home Depot. For added grit, we’ve used room accessories inspired by Disney’s feature film trilogy “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
