The Invitation
Bambi's square spots are instantly recognizable. To create an invitation that recalls the darling deer, place light brown spots cut from construction paper on top of a darker brown piece. Bambi has two rows of larger spots atop a row of two much smaller spots. Use each of the larger light brown spots to fill in a different party detail (time, place, RSVP information, etc.) Your child can help glue the spots to the larger sheet of paper.

Decorations, Playtime & Favors
Picture Bambi without his fluffy white tail and you're halfway to a reimagined version of a classic party game. Print out a large image of Bambi and glue cotton balls to circles of paper to create tails for kids to match up with the little deer. For combination "craftivity"-favors, make pairs of Felty Thumper Ears, for kids to hop and bop around in during the party. If you'd like, tiny hands can keep busy adorning their ears with glitter and paint markers. Or, cut felt pieces so that little girls can create Bambi's Butterfly Bobby Pins. Just be prepared for an impromptu spot of preschool hairstyling.

What to Serve
Whether your party is indoors or out, plan a picnic for your partygoers to make the most of the forest theme. Spread a blanket or several on the floor or outdoors and serve light fare, like Faline's Meadow Picnic Wraps. Top off the meal with a special treat, Flower Cupcakes, an adorable dessert that looks just like the sweetest skunk ever. As an alternate dessert option, consider Flower's Granola Garden, an airy yogurt and granola mix straight from the meadow.
