 CAROL MACREADY (Agnes) began her professional career working in weekly repertory theater. She subsequently joined the Old Vic for two years, where she performed in many productions and took the role of Maria in "Twelfth Night." Her long list of stage credits includes the recent production of "A Busy Day," as well as "Measure for Measure," "Pygmalion," "Playboy of the Western World," "School for Wives," "The Wind in the Willows," "Habeas Corpus," "Orpheus Descending," and "Absolute Hell." She also directed Strindberg's "The Stronger" at the Royal Shakespeare Company and Eugene O'Neil's "Before Breakfast" as part of the RSC Fringe Festival.
Ms. Macready's motion picture work includes roles in "The Night Is Young," "Quills," "The Pirates of Penzance," "The Scarlet Pimpernel," "Hellraisers," and "The Village."
She has also starred in a wide variety of television programs including "Heartbeat," "Dangerfield," "Loving," "In the Cold Light of Day," "A Feast at Midnight," "The Rector's Wife," "Eastenders," "Roll Over Beethoven," "Forever Young," "The Woman in White," "Tales of the Unexpected," "Couples," and "Trial and Retribution."
