 GREGORY PERLER (Edited by) was born in New Jersey and educated at New York University, where he graduated with a BA in film studies. While still in film school, Perler found his interest gravitating towards editing.
Prior to "102 Dalmatians," Perler spent the last three years editing "Tarzanā" with director Kevin Lima. Indeed, his first feature as editor was again with Kevin Lima, working side by side for another three years on "A Goofy Movie."
Perler's relationship with Disney began when he was hired as an assistant on "Beauty and the Beast" and then promoted to coeditor, where he remained for two years. Before this he lived in New York and was staff editor for Sporn Animation working on a series of short films for the Children's Television Workshop.
Perler's other main feature and television credits are "Toys," "Deception," and "Xena: Warrior Princess."
