Walt retires as the voice of Mickey Mouse and turns the job over to sound effects man Jim Macdonald.

Walt and his 10-year-old daughter Sharon tour Alaska, and Walt becomes intrigued with the area, resulting in the first True-Life Adventure film the following year.
