As babies turn one year old, they continue to develop their communication skills and may become increasingly curious about the world around them. "Baby's Favorite Places" is a playful introduction to the names of familiar and favorite places around town — from the market to the library to the local park. Parents and little ones will discover 20 new words using both verbal and nonverbal communication. First, the written word is shown alongside an image of the featured place or object and the word is said aloud. Then, special guest Marlee Matlin demonstrates how to express the word through sign language. Once the words have been introduced, delightful puppet shows and real-world images set to the beautiful classical music of Mozart encourage parents and little ones to join the fun!
