What was the first Disney film produced at the Studio?
The Studio produced numerous short cartoon features, starting with a series of short live-action/animated films in the early 1920s collectively called the ALICE COMEDIES and eventually following up with the cartoon adventures of Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, and the rest of the Disney gang. The first feature-length animated film produced by the Studio -- indeed, the first feature-length animated film ever produced -- was "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." The film opened on December 21, 1937, to great success. You can find lots of information about our company on The Walt Disney Company home page.
