The following minimum guidelines must be met to host a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding at the Walt Disney World® Resort. These guidelines have been designed to offer a variety of alternatives to fit your budget and party size. Click here for information on attaining your Florida marriage license.
Booking Your Wedding
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. ET. You will work with a Disney Wedding Sales Manager during the initial stages of booking your wedding. "Site Inspections" are available and should be scheduled in advance with your Disney Wedding Sales Manager. It is recommended that you determine availability of your preferred wedding dates before your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Once your wedding plans are definite, you will be assigned to a Disney Wedding Event Manager. Please be aware that your Disney Wedding Event Manager is coordinating wedding events each weekend; therefore, "planning sessions" can only be accommodated Monday through Friday. Should you require after-hours appointments, availability may be determined and discussed with your Disney Wedding Event Manager. |
Deposits
We are able to tentatively hold space for your wedding event 12 months in advance of your wedding date (based on availability). Within eight months of your wedding date, a signed Letter of Agreement with your non-refundable deposit will act as your commitment to host your wedding at the Walt Disney World Resort and enable us to begin planning your events and reserving hotel room accommodations. The deposit will be applied toward your wedding and is non-refundable once it is received. The deposit is required to confirm your wedding event space and special hotel rates.

Prices
All prices and guidelines are subject to change without notice. We are able to guarantee pricing for your wedding ceremony and reception six months prior to your wedding date.

Complimentary Rooms
A complimentary room is offered for your special first night together in the selected Walt Disney World Resort location of your choice, based on availability. Suite upgrades are available at an additional charge.
Wedding Expenditure
A minimum expenditure of $10,000 for events Friday through Sunday, or $7,500 for events Monday through Thursday, excluding tax and gratuity, is required. During the holiday seasons, a higher minimum may apply.

Food and beverage, flowers, décor, music, entertainment, photography services, special transportation, hair, makeup, spa services, ceremony site fees, and any other services exclusively for the wedding event will apply toward reaching or exceeding this minimum if provided by Walt Disney World Co. and Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings.

Food & Beverage
A minimum food and beverage expenditure of $75 per person, plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax, will apply to functions beginning prior to 2:00 p.m.
A minimum food and beverage expenditure of $100 per person, plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax, will apply to functions beginning after 2:00 p.m.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a minimum food and beverage expenditure of $100.00 per person, plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax for functions beginning prior to 2:00 p.m. A minimum food and beverage expenditure of $125.00 per person, plus 20% service charge and 6.5% sales tax will apply to functions beginning after 2:00 p.m.

Guest Accommodations
Based on your estimated number of guests, you must guarantee a minimum number of room nights at selected Walt Disney World Resorts. Your Disney Wedding Sales Manager will be happy to discuss these minimums in detail to ensure your comfort level.
Magic Kingdom Weddings
Wedding events in the Magic Kingdom® Park are held after Park hours and are based on limited availability. These are considered "Premium" events and are priced differently than other wedding events. Minimum expenditure for Magic Kingdom events starts at $42,000. Please consult with your Wedding Sales Manager for further information on these very special options.
