The Dream
Since the bride, Shandra, is such a "huge Disney fan," it was only fitting that the couple fullfilled their Fairy Tale Wedding fantasy here. And their fantasy was shared with friends and family in attendance from Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, and even Puerto Rico.
The Ceremony Setting
Disney's Wedding Pavilion was chosen because, as the Smalls put it, "The moment we saw the Wedding Pavilion, we knew that was where we wanted to celebrate our special day."
The Celebration
The celebration started in the afternoon, in which Shandra arrived for the ceremony at Disney's Wedding Pavilion in a vintage 1929 Cadillac. The ceremony featured an organist who played everything from Vivaldi classics to Disney favorited for about 200 guests. The reception and wedding dinner & dance were held in the St. Augustine Ballroom at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and included a live DJ. The wedding cake (one hald yellow cake with strawberry mouse and fresh strawberries, one half marble cake with white chocolat mousse) was "The Victorian" which showcased clear pillars and fresh flowers.
The Menu
The main course featured tomato bisque, cabernet & thyme marinated capon and rosemary roasted russet potatoes.
