DISNEY'S NEW 751-ROOM GRAND CALIFORNIAN HOTELSM OFFERS GUESTS THE BEAUTY AND EXCITEMENT OF EARLY CALIFORNIA

Capturing the spirit of early California through inspiring design and daring architecture, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel is a deluxe 751-room resort hotel property, offering a premium option for business or pleasure visits to the expanded DISNEYLAND® Resort in Anaheim, California.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel becomes the first Disney resort to be located inside a theme park -- the new DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE™ -- making stays at the deluxe hotel a uniquely themed experience. The location also provides creative opportunities for groups and incentive sales program functions.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel celebrates the turn-of-the-century romantic Californian Craftsman movement. Designed by Peter Dominick of the Urban Design Group of Denver to capture the artistic exploration of California's coastlines, Monterey pines, and redwood forests, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel is layered with the memories of the Arroyo craftsmen, the mission pioneers, the Plein Air school of painters, and daring architecture. Among the deluxe guest rooms are 713 standard rooms, 34 artisan suites, two vice presidential suites, and two presidential suites. In addition, the resort offers over 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, ranging from the 12,600-square-foot Sequoia ballroom to smaller conference rooms. A fully equipped 1,300-square-foot California boardroom is also available.

"Specially themed hotels have become a hallmark of Disney Resorts worldwide," noted Claire Bilby, vice president of sales and travel operations for the DISNEYLAND Resort. "Disney's Grand Californian Hotel brings this tradition to Southern California and is the first example of a fully themed Disney Resort hotel at the DISNEYLAND Resort. It inaugurates a new era in DISNEYLAND Resort hospitality."

The deluxe hotel features 24-hour room service and its own entry gate into DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE, and has rooms that overlook both the theme park and the exciting DOWNTOWN DISNEY® District. For corporate meetings guests, the hotel features meeting planner's offices, a business center, and separate meetings and conventions check-in facilities.

Food and beverage facilities include the Napa Rose restaurant, Storytellers Cafe, White Water Snacks, and Hearthstone Lounge.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel also has Eureka Springs, a health club with state-of-the-art equipment, massage rooms, and dry and steam saunas. The deluxe hotel has two heated pools with a themed water slide, two spas, children's pool, and concierge level with upgraded amenities and services.

The beautiful new resort hotel is part of DISNEYLAND Resort's $1.4 billion expansion. The Resort's centerpiece is DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE, developed on DISNEYLAND's original parking area, just south of the DISNEYLAND Main Entrance. DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE celebrates the fun and diversity of California. From the glamour of Hollywood to the exhilaration of soaring above Yosemite Valley to a gleaming beachfront boardwalk, the theme park captures California's "Golden State of Mind."

At the heart of the DISNEYLAND Resort is the DOWNTOWN DISNEY® District, a public esplanade of highly themed retail, dining, and entertainment experiences all within walking distance for Guests, conventioneers, and residents. DOWNTOWN DISNEY connects the two theme parks -- DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE and DISNEYLAND -- with the DISNEYLAND Resort hotels, thereby becoming a new "Main Street" for the Anaheim Resort.

When Disney's Grand Californian Hotel opens, the DISNEYLAND Resort's hotel district will have a total of 2,242 guest rooms, including the existing award-winning Disneyland® Hotel and Disney's Paradise PierSM Hotel.
