  Examples:

  • Boons can be earned by players for achieving various explicit and implicit goals. These Boons will increase the competition between experienced and skilled players, and allow players to customize their pirate abilities by determining which Boons to strive for.

  • Certain Persistent World Features allow Guilds to win and control various areas of the Caribbean. The longer a particular Guild holds an area, the greater the Guild Boon. However, as the Boon increases, it becomes more difficult to defend that region from falling to other Guilds.

• Tutorials and Hints: To get players started, and to reveal more advanced tactics to players, Pirates of the Caribbean Multiplayer has a dynamic tutorial and hints system. Depending on how many times the player has sailed, fought or won, the game will deliver pre-game hints and tips.
