Underwriters Laboratories Safety Smart Educator Sweepstakes

I. SPONSORS:

Underwriters Laboratories, Radio Disney (ABC Radio Networks Assets, LLC and Radio Disney Group, LLC) and Disney Educational Productions (Hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sponsor”).

II. ELIGIBILITY

Entrants must be legal residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and be at least 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants must be employed by a learning institution which may include but is not limited to: schools, camps, after-school programs, police and fire educational programs and consumer based educational opportunities.

Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Underwriters Laboratories, Radio Disney or Disney Educational Productions, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

III. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

Sweepstakes participants shall have the option of entering the sweepstakes by either (i) submitting entries with feedback forms concerning, without limitation, the Safety Videos and Teaching Materials, or (ii) submitting an entry post-card via mail, both methods are fully outlined below.

To enter complete an entry form after viewing the UL Safety Smart DVDs by providing your name, title, school, address, day and night phone numbers, email address and answers to a few short questions regarding the UL Sponsored DVD. Or, send in a postcard with your name, school name, title, address, day and nighttime telephone numbers to RADIO DISNEY BOSTON, “UL EDUCATOR SWEEPSTAKES”, 309 WAVERLY OAKS ROAD – SUITE 103, WALTHAM, MA 02452. Entries remain the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

Entries will be accepted starting January 15th 2008 and ending at 11: 59 PM EST, March 31st 2008 for the first Grand Prize trip in July of 2008. A second entry period to comprise a second entry pool with separate Winners and prizing will start on April 1st 2008 and end at 11:59 PM EST, October 3rd 2008 for the second Grand Prize trip in December of 2008. Depending upon which entry pool you choose to participate in, all entries for the respective drawings must be received by the dates and times indicated above.

Sponsor is not responsible for mail that is lost, stolen, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, mutilated, misdirected, altered, tampered with, or postage-due.

IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED

Ten (10) grand prize winners will be selected at random on or about April 4th 2008 from all valid entries (postcard and enclosed forms) received for entry in the first grand prize drawing entry pool to win the first Grand Prize trip which will take place in July 2008. Ten (10) Grand Prize winners will be selected on or about October 8th 2008 for entry in the second grand prize drawing entry pool to win the second Grand Prize trip which will take place in December 2008.

Winners will be notified by certified mail. Response to winner notification must be received by Sponsor within 10 business days or the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting.

Limit one prize per winner for this contest. Educators who have won the first Grand Prize trip are not eligible to enter or win the drawing for the second Grand Prize trip.

Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received.

V. PRIZE(S)

Grand Prize winners selected for the first Grand Prize trip must attend the Safety Summit hosted by UL on Tuesday, July 8th 2008 and travel between the dates of Monday, July 7th and Sunday, July 13th. Grand Prize winners selected for the second Grand Prize trip must attend the Safety Summit hosted by UL on December 9th and travel between the dates of December 8th through December 14th. Trip, travel and Summit dates are not flexible. If you are not able to attend the scheduled trip you must relinquish the prize. Prizes are non-transferable.

Each Grand Prize Winner will receive one (1) trip for four (4) to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida including: roundtrip, coach class airfare for four (4) from an airport near the winner’s origination to and from Orlando; six (6) nights’ hotel accommodations at one of the Walt Disney World economy hotels (one room, quadruple occupancy); and 6 days’ worth of Park Hopper passes for 4 people to Walt Disney World, one per day for each person in the party. Additionally, each Grand Prize package shall include the presentation to the Winners and their guests of an educational safety seminar event hosted by UL. The first group of winners will attend the UL Safety Summit from 9 am – 1 pm on July 8th 2008 and the second group of winners will attend the UL Safety Summit from 9 am – 1 pm on December 9th 2008.

Approximate retail value of each prize package is $5,000.

Final actual value at time of booking and travel may be substantially more or less depending on dates of travel, point of origin and ticket availability. Some restrictions apply.

All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner’s sole responsibility. Some restrictions may apply.

Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more.

Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash.

Sponsor is not responsible for cancellation or preemption of the UL Safety Seminar for other circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill this element of the prize. This element of the prize has no approximate retail value, and if it becomes impractical or impossible to fulfill this element, Sponsor’s only obligation will be to provide the remainder, if any, of prize.

VI. RELEASES

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and sweepstakes administrator, which shall be final in all respects.

By participating in this sweepstakes and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release Radio Disney, Underwriters Laboratories and Disney Educational Productions, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prize.

Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, in any media now known or hereafter created, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner’s list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.

To claim prize: (a) winner must provide proof of age, employer, employer’s status as a learning institution, title, identity and residency; (b) winner must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification; and (c) winner’s intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, must sign liability/publicity release, all within the time period specified by Sponsor.

VII. MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS’ LIST

Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.

List of winners will be available for 60 days after sweepstakes.
