2006-2007 DISNEY SHOW YOUR CHARACTER SCHOOLS

Disney worked with administrators from LAUSD, Burbank and Glendale Unified School Districts to identify ten Los Angeles area schools to participate in the program for this inaugural year. Disney is proud to partner with the following exceptional schools to make a difference in their surrounding communities:

• Belmont High School
• Burbank High School
• Cleveland High School
• Crescenta Valley High School
• Dorsey High School
• Grant High School
• Hamilton High School
• Lincoln High School
• Polytechnic High School
• Venice High School

These schools will each form a Disney Show Your Character volunteer team and, working with the Volunteer Center of Los Angeles and their assigned Disney VoluntEARS project advisor, each team will make a difference in their community. Upon completion of the project, these ten schools will become "official" Disney Show Your Character schools and will receive:

• Disney Show Your Character certificate of achievement
• Disney Show Your Character Resource Kit for teachers and students to continue their community service
• Support from the Volunteer Center of Los Angeles to maintain the effort
