Every year we're welcoming more and more Members, so there's always
a lot of excitement when it comes to reserving vacations. Since
all reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, be
sure to reserve as soon as you can!
- When making reservations at your Home Resort, you have an 11-month
booking window. This means you can make your reservations as far
as 11 months in advance of your check-out date. The Home Resort
Priority Period grants you exclusive access to book specific dates
at your Home Resort 11–8 months before your check-out date.
- When making reservations at all other Disney Vacation Club
Resorts, you can book as far as 7 months before your check-out
date.
- When making reservations for Member
Getaways, other guidelines apply. So please visit Member
Getaways for complete details.
- In order to make the best possible use of your Vacation Points,
please be sure that all payments in connection with your ownership
interest are current.
- If you have special requirements during your stay—such
as specific medical needs, wheelchair access, cribs, high chairs,
etc.—please let us know when you make your reservations
and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

In order to take advantage of the Home Resort
Priority Period, all Vacation Points being used to make that reservation
must be associated with your Home Resort.
For example, say you wanted to make a reservation
at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, which will use 100 Vacation
Points. If you had 200 Vacation Points at Disney’s Old
Key West Resort and 50 Vacation Points at Disney's Vero Beach
Resort, you would not have enough "Vero Beach" Vacation
Points to qualify for the Home Resort Priority Period. Of course,
as a Disney Vacation Club Member, you do have options:
You could use your 200 "Old Key
West" Vacation Points to book a vacation during the Home
Resort Priority Period at Disney's Old Key West Resort |
OR |
You could "borrow" "Vero
Beach" Vacation Points to secure your reservation during
the Home Resort Priority Period for Disney's Vero Beach
Resort |
The more Vacation Points you have, the more flexibility you
can enjoy. |
You may book reservations at your Home Resort
using your Home Resort Vacation Points during the 11-8 month Home
Resort Priority period. If, at a later date, you wish to use Vacation
Points from another Disney Vacation Club Resort, it will
not be possible to "switch out" the Vacation Points. In
order to preserve each Member's Home Resort Priority, it will be
necessary to check availability and make a new reservation with
the Vacation Points from the other Disney Vacation Club Resort.
For example, if you are a Member of both
Disney's Old Key West Resort and Disney's Vero Beach
Resort, and make a reservation at Disney's Old Key West Resort
using the Disney's Old Key West Resort Home Resort Priority
Period, it will not be possible to simply "switch out"
the Vacation Points once you are inside the 7-month reservation
window to use your Disney's Vero Beach Resort Vacation Points.
Based on availability, you may choose to leave the original reservation
intact or you may choose to cancel the original reservation and
rebook with your Disney's Vero Beach Resort Vacation Points.
