The 60-day rule

Ever wonder why you can't book and travel on a Member Getaways vacation within the last 60 days of your Use Year? Disney Vacation Club needs to turn your Vacation Points into rental inventory to pay for your Member Getaways vacation. Based on history, inventory within 60 days of arrival is very limited, and there is no guarantee we would be able to reserve any inventory to offset the cost of this exchange. So simply plan accordingly. You can travel in the last 60 days of your Use Year, as long as you've booked your stay more than 60 days before the end of your Use Year.
