Key Terms:
Declared or Member Inventory
Inventory that can be reserved with Vacation Points. These are the Vacation Homes associated with ownership interests that have been purchased by Members and declared into the condominium association.

Undeclared or Developer Inventory
Inventory that may be reserved on a cash basis. These are the Vacation Homes built and owned by Disney Vacation Development, Inc. that have not been declared into the condominium association.

Once you understand the difference between Member inventory and developer inventory, it's easy to understand how availability is determined at Disney Vacation Club Resorts.

  • Member Services manages the Central Reservation System that allows you to make reservations for Member inventory.
  • Member inventory is available only to Members. However, any Member inventory unreserved by Members within 60 days of any arrival date may be made available for maintenance, wait lists, and rental.
  • Accommodations that are exchanged through the Member Getaways program are made available for rental (except for those exchanges made through the World Passport Collection).
  • Undeclared inventory cannot be reserved with Vacation Points.
