World Passport Collection

Making an exchange
  • Making a World Passport Collection exchange is a different process than making a Disney Vacation Club Resort reservation. In order to have availability in the exchange system, members who own time at the resort you are seeking must give up their accommodations for exchange.
  • When you contact Member Services for an Interval International exchange, a search will be conducted to see if there is an immediate match.
    • If a match is found, the Vacation Advisor will place your reserved Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation into the exchange system to confirm your exchange. Vacation Points are not committed until an exchange is confirmed.
    • If an immediate match is not found, you may request to have the system continue to search until a suitable match is found. The Vacation Advisor will contact you when a match has been found.
    • Once you deposit a Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation into the Interval International system, you cannot withdraw it.
  • When you contact Member Services for an exchange through Buena Vista Travel Company, we'll contact the exchange resort to check availability.
  • All exchanges are subject to availability.
  • A non-refundable exchange fee of $75 is required when the exchange is confirmed.

Depositing accommodations for a future exchange

With Interval International®, you also have the option of first depositing your Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation into the exchange system, then deciding later where and when you'd like to travel. Keep in mind that once you deposit your Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation, you cannot withdraw it. This is a great option if you are past your banking dates and don't want to lose the use of your Vacation Points. You have two deposit choices:

Regular deposit:

  • You may deposit your Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation (one-bedroom or two-bedroom/seven-night stay) into the Interval International system 60 days or more before the start date of your deposited week.
  • You may then contact Member Services at any time to place a search against your deposited week.
  • Travel on the exchange that you confirm must be completed within two years of the dates of the week that you deposited.

Late deposit:

  • You may deposit your Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation (one-bedroom or two-bedroom/seven-night stay) into the Interval International system 59 days or less before the start date of your deposited week.
  • You may only contact Member Services 59 days or less from the start of the date that you wish to travel to confirm your exchange.
  • Travel on the exchange that you confirm must be completed within two years of the dates of the week that you deposited.

Start packing!

Once your exchange is confirmed, Member Services will send you a fact sheet about the resort where you'll be staying. This fact sheet will give you an overview of the resort, the room features, the amenities, the neighboring area, and more. It's a great way to help you prepare for your trip! You can also review the resort information on our web site at dvcmember.com.
