When you are ready to confirm an exchange, simply contact Member Services, and they will advise you of the Vacation Points requirements. The number of Vacation Points required for an exchange is determined by several factors, including the destination, accommodation size, and travel dates. You can expect that the Vacation Points requirements for these exchanges will usually fall within the range of the Choice, Dream, and Magic Seasons on the Disney Vacation Club Resort Vacation Points charts for a one-bedroom or two-bedroom accommodation.

The first step is to choose your destination, then determine the accommodation size you require and your travel dates. Be sure to consider alternates for all of these, to increase your chances of securing an exchange. Then contact Member Services, and the Vacation Advisor will search the system to see which weeks have been given up by the owners of the destination resorts. (These are the accommodations that are available for you to confirm.) You may be able to confirm your exchange immediately. If the destination, accommodation or dates you prefer are not immediately available, the Vacation Advisor can submit a search so that the system can continue to look for a match for you. They will contact you to confirm the exchange when it becomes available. Keep in mind that it may take a while to secure a match, and while there is no guarantee, good things often come to those who wait!

Remember

Should you cancel a confirmed Member Getaways vacation (according to the guidelines required for each collection), the Vacation/Reservation Points may be returned to you. Reservation Points may not be converted back to Vacation Points. They may only be used for booking a future Member Getaways vacation within the same Use Year.

World Passport Collection exchanges are arranged through two companies: Interval International® and Buena Vista Trading Company. The destination and length of stay will determine which one the Vacation Advisor will use to confirm your exchange.

Interval International® Exchanges

To confirm an exchange, you will trade a Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation for an Interval International accommodation.

• The Vacation Advisor will help you select the Disney Vacation Club Resort accommodation to trade. This will be determined by several factors, including Disney Vacation Club Resort availability, your booking window, size of accommodation, etc.
• You can confirm your exchange up to two years in advance!
• Exchanges are in seven-night increments (generally from weekend to weekend).
• In order for an exchange week to be available for you, an owner at a resort in the Interval International program must give up their week for exchange.

The number of Vacation Points required for an Interval International exchange usually falls within the range of the Choice, Dream, and Magic Seasons for a one-bedroom or two-bedroom Vacation Home. You may bank and borrow Vacation Points (according to the guidelines) to secure an accommodation to trade.

Buena Vista Trading Company Exchanges

• The number of Vacation Points required for the exchange is based on several factors, including Disney Vacation Club Resort availability, your booking window, size of accommodation, etc.
• You can confirm your exchange from seven days up to ten months in advance, depending on the resort, your length of stay, and several other factors.
• You can book the exchange on a nightly basis, for as few or as many nights as you choose (seven-night exchanges are confirmed through Interval International®).
• All exchanges are subject to availability.
